Separator Systems

When developing the separator systems of Wavin-Labko, we have used our experience of more than 40 years in manufacturing various separators. The separators are manufactured in Finland, in the plastic factories of Wavin-Labko. All products are tested and reliable, whole systems ready to be installed, including the separator, a maintenance shaft dimensioned according to the installation area, and a cast iron cover and frame set. All oil separators of Wavin-Labko also include the oil filling alarm device as a standard.

Reliable and Durable Products

The separators of Wavin-Labko are operationally reliable, and special attention has been paid on their easy maintenance. High quality and consideration for the facts of environmental protection ensure that the user can have the best possible result for decades to come.

Wavin-Labko’s separators are made of PE or GRP plastic. Due to the solid and recyclable PE plastic, the separators are light to transport and quick to install. The GRP separators are manufactured using a computer operated winding machine, and their strength is far superior e.g. to those laminated by hand.

PE and GRP plastic are materials immune to corrosion, and their chemical resistance is overwhelming e.g. compared to the concrete separators.

Tested Models

Wastewater emission is controlled more and more strictly by increasingly stringent legislation. Wavin-Labko is ready to comply with the requirements, having developed a series of separators, which has passed the tests according to the EN standard defining the flow rate and purification efficiency. When tested, the 1st class separators are to reach a hydrocarbon concentration of less than 5 mg/l in the outflowing wastewater, and correspondingly, the 2nd class separators should have a concentration of less than 100mg/l. The mechanical ground pressure resistance of the maintenance shafts is also ensured by tests according to the EN 1825 standards.
