EuroPEK Roo Safe is a class I oil separator, which efficiently cleans the wash and rain waters separating the oils and solids from the water. The body of EuroPEK Roo Safe is made of a double wall tank. Between the inner and outer wall there is a dry interspace, which is monitored using alarm system. Should a leak occur, the liquid in the interspace causes an alarm, and the leak is quickly detected.
High purifying efficiency and double-wall structure combined with remote monitoring make EuroPEK Roo Safe a double-safe oil separator. EuroPEK Roo Safe excels in demanding applications, where not only high purifying efficiency is required, but leakages want to be minimized, too. E.g. industrial areas and fuel stations in ground water areas represent such challenges.
Tested and Working
The development of EuroPEK Roo Safe is based on laboratory tests and on real-life operation monitoring in actual working conditions. The laboratory flow tests confirm a first class purifying efficiency. In addition to the purifying efficiency, also maintainability and structural durability is tested in real working conditions. A monitoring test ran in a real car wash showed that the coalescing units work efficiently. Additionally, the dirt gathered in the coalescing units was easily removable using a pressure washer.
Guaranteed Efficiency
According to the oil separator standard EN-858, the class 1 separator purifying result must not exceed the hydrocarbon concentration of 5 mg/l in a laboratory test. EuroPEK Roo Safe stays under the limit defined by the standard. The high purifying efficiency of EuroPEK Roo Safe is based on the coalescing units in the separator. The drops of oil adhere onto the coalescing unit surface, and become separated from the water flow. With the coalescing units, even the smallest oil droplets can be separated from the water, which significantly enhances the purifying efficiency of the separator.

The double-wall structure makes a safe installation possible also in environmentally fragile and valuable areas. SET-2000 Alarm for Double-wall Separator
EuroPEK Roo Safe is equipped with SET-2000 Alarm, which indicates an alarm, if the oil storage space is full, or if the tank wall is broken. The alarm device can be connected to LabkoNet. The alarm device is ATEX-compliant, and can be used in atmospheres with the risk of explosion, as in oil separators.
