Wavin-Labko has invested in the quality of work, products and environment since its founding in 1964. This is achieved by the continuous development of processes, methods, safety and the well-being of the personnel. Supporting our employees, we enhance our operation. E.g. in April 2004 new ways to build up the safety at work are brought out by an idea contest in our production.
Quality has traditionally been the most essential factor in the competitiveness of Wavin-Labko Ltd.

Customer satisfaction
Customer satisfaction is the most important quality meter. We continuously monitor the development of customer satisfaction at various sectors by ourselves and by outside measurements. Based on the information gathered we aim at continuous improvement in satisfying the expectations of our customers. Being active in sales and fares, not to mention the service via phone, we are easily reachable for our customers.
The commitment of personnel
Everyone is personally responsible for the quality of our operations. Cooperation is the way to achieve the best possible outcome in the quality of our work.
Supporting the leisure activities of our personnel and organizing stimulating common activities, we maintain the ability to work.

The quality management system
Our each business unit is certified by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance to comply with the ISO 9001:2000 quality standard. The system covers all processes, whose suitability and effectiveness is continuously reviewed and developed to enhance customer satisfaction and internal efficiency.
Working for the benefit of our environment
The environmental management system complying with the ISO 14001 standard has been certified in February 2003. The products we manufacture and market have a positive effect on the well-being of environment. In deed, this is the most important environmental value, which we resolutely follow in our product development. The environmental management system quides our objectives and daily operations to even more environmental friendly direction.
Wavin-Labko’s oil and grease separators are tested by German laboratory, LGA QualiTest GmbH. We ensure that separators, produced by us, are able to fulfil all criterions of cleaning results and functional standards.
Biokem® was the first sequence batch reactor which has passed functional tests of Suomen ympäristökeskus (authority of environmental issues of Finland), and it meets the cleaning results required by Finnish legislation. Biokem® has been CE-marked product since 8th of June 2005.
